Change management
Controlling changes to a model or agent so each change is assessed, approved, recorded and reversible.
Change management is the control of changes to a model or agent so that each change is assessed, tested, approved, recorded and reversible. The EU AI Act treats an unplanned change that affects a high-risk system's compliance or intended purpose as a substantial modification, which can trigger a new conformity assessment. For agents, changes include a new model version, a new tool, an edited system prompt or a wider mandate, and each should be versioned so any action can be tied to the configuration that produced it.
