AI management system
An organisation's policies, processes and controls for developing or using AI responsibly, as specified by ISO/IEC 42001.
An AI management system is the set of policies, objectives, processes and controls an organisation uses to develop, provide or use AI systems responsibly. ISO/IEC 42001 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving such a system, in the same style as other ISO management system standards, and organisations can be certified against it. Certification shows that a governance process exists; it does not by itself show that a particular agent is safe.
