Trusted Agent Protocol
Visa's specification for signals that let merchants recognise trusted commerce agents and the consumer behind them.
The Trusted Agent Protocol is a Visa specification that lets merchants distinguish trusted, commerce-focused agents from other automated traffic. It carries verifiable signals such as the agent's intent to browse or buy, information that helps recognise the underlying consumer, and payment details, with signatures that are specific to the merchant and purpose, time-bound and not replayable. Visa describes it as in development and deployment, so availability varies by market.
