European Digital Identity Wallet
An EU wallet app, provided under the European Digital Identity Regulation, for storing and presenting identity data and attestations.
The European Digital Identity Wallet is an app that EU Member States must make available under the European Digital Identity Regulation, letting people and businesses store identification data and electronic attestations of attributes and present them online and offline. Users can disclose only the attributes a verifier needs, such as proof of age without a birth date. Wallets are expected to be accepted for strong customer authentication by many regulated services, which makes them relevant to how customers approve agent mandates.
