Closed mandate
In AP2, a mandate bound to one specific action, such as a finalised checkout or a specific amount.
In the Agent Payments Protocol, a closed mandate is bound to one specific action, such as a finalised checkout or a specific transaction amount, and authorises exactly that. It is signed by the user when present, or produced by the agent within the constraints of an open mandate. A verifier can compare the closed mandate with the open one to confirm that the agent stayed inside what the user allowed.
